We are local and family-owned and have been serving Philadelphia area pet families since 1988.  Now, in partnership with the Humane Society of the United States and numerous shelters, we have become a rescue center offering dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for adoption.  Saving animals from cruelty, neglect and homelessness one new family at a time has become our key mission.  Our commitment makes it possible for our partners to save more animals in need, even before a forever family steps forward.   Adopt one, save two is how we think of this new model for rescue since every pet available for adoption has already escaped a desperate situation.  These pets are vet-checked, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered.

As an employer, tax payer and community partner, we are invested in the local communities we serve.  We always offer a 10 percent discount to members of the military, fire fighters, and police officers at all of our locations. Our knowledgeable sales staff are available seven days a week, and our stores offer lots of special events including low-cost vaccination clinics, photos with pets, and grooming.

Pets Plus Natural Adoption Centers! 

Pets Plus teamed up with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and numerous shelters to find homes for rescued puppies, dogs, cats and kittens that come from cruelty, neglect, and homelessness.  These animals come from local shelters, in addition to shelters nationwide.

All adoptable animals are:

  • Vet checked
  • Spayed/neutered
  • Up-to-date on vaccines
  • Microchipped
